Delivery manager resume and interview help

Delivery manager roles differ by employer: some run releases for product teams, some own delivery for client accounts. A hiring manager reads for the scope of what you delivered, the dates you held or moved and why, and how the work reached production or the client. The free review reads a delivery manager, delivery lead or head of delivery resume with checks written for these.

Questions

What do hiring managers read for on a delivery manager resume?

In general, they read for the scope first: the teams, products or client accounts you delivered for. Then for the delivery record against the agreed plan, how you forecast a date and when you said it would move, the risks and dependencies you handled, and how the work was handed to operations or the client. A date you moved with a reason reads better than a claim that every date held.

How does the free review read a delivery manager resume?

Reed reads it with the delivery manager checks: every date stated as met with no plan, a schedule managed with no forecast or replan, releases named as a duty, risks and dependencies tracked but not handled, a team size with no reporting line, and client relationships with no decision. A service delivery manager title is read with the IT manager checks instead. The checks are a draft that working practitioners still review.

Does Reed know whether my resume is true?

No. Reed is an AI and cannot know whether a line is true. It quotes your lines back to you and asks where the record is: a release plan, a change log or a client sign-off. You decide what the answer is and what changes. Nothing is added to your resume that you did not confirm.
